PASTOR'S  MESSAGE

Pastor Ken McDonald 

I have been the minister of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Aiken since June 2007. 

          It is my privilege to share love and friendship with all of you.  We come together in Christian love for preaching of the word, praising the Lord and fellowship.  I am new to the Disciples of Christ and was "a stranger and you took me in."   What a great joy to be part of the historic Disciples of Christ movement in South Carolina.   

          At First Christian Church we hope to increase membership in the church through families with small children, teenagers, as well as young adults. 

          My preaching style is light and lively, speaking to the congregation in a more conversational manner as you will hear when you select the SERMONS menu item.

          First Christian Church is open to everyone who wants to serve God, regardless of their ethnic, racial, cultural and religious backgrounds.  It is important that people restore their relationships with God and our church promotes this concept.
